My current family consists of 3 ferrets: Stretch, Snow White, and Ashley; 4 cats: Taz, Salem, Ike, and Bubba (Ike and Bubba are fosters); and soon to be added is Junior, a Corgi mix boy. Also needing mentioning is a Samoyed girl (right), Abby, who now resides with her daddy who spoils her rotten.

Sunshine (May 1999 - July 2003) |
Above is my sweet Sunshine who passed away suddenly last year. She was my first ferret who taught me the joys, and frustrations, of ferrethood.
Below are my four boys. The bottom two hugging are Taz (orange/white) and Salem (black), and the two above are my fosters Bubba (black) and Ike (buff/white).

There's one cat in particular (Max, a Siamese/Himalayan mix) who was a favorite of mine (below). Sadly, Max went missing the day after Christmas of 2001. It is because of Max that I decided to become a foster parent. Even though Max was never my cat (he belonged to a neighbor) he stole a place in my heart and he will never be forgotten. That is why I dedicated a page to him, so he would be remembered by all who saw him. Max use to reserve a room (well, actually the whole house) for days, if not weeks, at a time and enjoyed receiving 3 square meals a day, catnip overdoses, and a warm lap to lay on while receiving chin and head scritches. He was a demanding client and expected immediate service, or headbutts would ensue to speed you along.

Also mentioned here is TNR, Trap-Neuter-Return. There are many semi-feral cats living here and something had to be done to make their life easier. Four kittens, their father (?) (below) and an aunt were trapped and neutered/spayed. One kitten and the aunt were returned back to the outdoors as they were extremely afraid of people. The other 3 kittens have been adopted and the father, Thomas, is in foster care waiting for that special home who will see pass his FIV.
