My story is rather short, as I have been with my foster mom for about a month. But I can tell you that I'm a handsome fella who enjoys imitating my wild tiger cousins. Read on!

First, let me tell you about my trip home. I didn't like it, not one bit and I voiced my displeasure the entire way. Thank goodness it was a short trip. As soon as we entered, this huge furry white fluffball came up to my carrier. My foster mom introduced us, I think the fluffball's name was Abby, but I was too scared to be polite and immediately showed how tough I was by demonstrating my wide range of vocal sounds: growling, hissing, spitting and then a show of how many claws I have. Mom tried to explain that Abby was very friendly and loved cats. I wouldn't have any of it. So mom gave me her bedroom to unwind in and it's become my favorite place.

I'll admit I was very frightened when I first arrived and wouldn't come out from under the bed for over a day. Mom would sit there by the bed and talk to me, until finally I came to check her out. She put her hand out to me and I allowed her to scratch my head. Hey, that felt good! It took me almost a week before I would come completely out while anyone was around. Next she coaxed me to try out the bed. Not bad. Amazingly there appeared to be mice under the blankets whenever she was there. I immediately began to show her my hunting skills by pouncing on these mice, though I don't know why every now and then she would appear to be in pain when I made contact. I also showed her I was always on the job, no matter what time of night or in the wee hours of the morning. And she always showed her appreciation by waking up and scratching my head. I've decided to make it a nightly routine.

Mom decided that it was time for me to meet the rest of the family. She brought in this long funny looking cat, except it wasn't a cat but something called a ferret. Seems there are four of them here. There fun to chase and I love trying to bat their heads like basketballs, but boy are they fast. One of them even managed to crawl under the closet door. No fair! I've recently learned how to break them out of their room. Can you believe it? They have their own room. I'll have to talk to mom about getting my own. Anyway, I've learned that if I push on this thing called plexiglass then I can make an opening and either they come out or I go in. Either way it's fun because mom comes running up and starts chasing them around the house, and then Abby gets in on the fun and starts chasing them. It's a great way to stir things up when I'm bored. Mom says I'm a little rascal. Sounds good to me!

It took me a couple of weeks before I was ready to explore the rest of my domain. At first it was the upstairs bathroom, where mom found me hiding next to the sink. But after that I started checking out the downstairs, a little at a time. It took a few days after that before I would go down while anyone was there. I've discovered that playing on the stairs is alot of fun. Mom laughs at me because I like to play with invisible mice and will run up and down and pounce on my imaginary friends.

At times I need my own space, but want to keep an eye on things, so I enjoy laying at the top of the stairs. I believe in living up to my wild heritage, though my mom keeps telling me I'm not directly related to actual tigers, I beg to differ. All you have to do is look at my coat to see the same color and same stripes. I even like to roar like one, well, at least yawn like one.

I don't spend all my time playing on the stairs. There's a nice mouse that hangs around my cat tree. It doesn't mind at all if I practice my one-two punch on it. Plus it's a great place to relax and watch whats going on in the outside world.

I'll admit I'm still somewhat skitish of people standing upright and walking towards me, but mom says I'm improving day by day. I enjoy snuggling on laps when you sit down and when you are trying to sleep. Especially when you're trying to sleep. I just like to make sure that you haven't forgotten I'm still about. Mom doesn't seem to mind whenever I wake her up, she just smiles and rubs my head.

Mom has more pictures of me and it's time for my catnap, so I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking. And for my forever family who may be looking at these pictures my likes are playing, staring outside, head scratches, playing, warm laps, catnip toys, jingling toys, hanging toys, playing, snoozing, hunting invisible mice, playing with ferrets, and just playing!  I don't have many dislikes except I still don't like to be picked up, well not yet anyway. Also, I like to pick on dogs, even large ones, so it may be best to have a home without one. But I don't think I would mind another cat, especially a playful one like me. Enjoy the rest of the pictures and I hope to see you soon!
