Even though I look like an outdoor dog, I love being inside. The only time I enjoy being outside and am willing to run is during the winter. If it's above 40 degrees, it's too hot. 
Luckily, I can lay around inside during the summertime and be cooled by air conditioning. If it's too hot and humid, I don't even like to go outside to go the bathroom. My mom says I'm totally spoiled - whatever that is. But I'm sure I'm not that. 
Actually, there is one thing I'm willing to move for, even in the heat, and that's anything small, furry, or feathery!! Birds are my favorite, with squirrels and mice a close second. I'll even try to climb bushes and trees to catch them. I don't want to hurt them, just play with them. 
Max really thinks he's in charge of the household, especially sleeping arrangements. Most of the time he likes to sleep with mom, but every now and then he prefers my bed. I wouldn't mind so much, except he doesn't even ask my permission. It's a good thing I like him.

I'm a five year old female Samoyed. One of my favorite things to do is watch tv, especially animal shows - I just flip out when I see other animals and love to charge the tv to catch them. I also love to sleep and eat. I'm a very picky eater and absolutely refuse to eat my veggies - yuck! But I love cat food and ferret food and dog food, and I betcha I would love people food, but my mom won't give me anything except for those yucky veggies. I try to be self sufficient and feed myself, but she gets upset when I try to eat out of the cat and ferrets' litter boxes.
I love playing with my sisters and brother, but my mom says my 60+ lbs against their 1.5 lbs is an unfair advantage. I don't think so. 
I try to tell mom that they might be small, but jeez, do they have sharp teeth and strong jaws! Ouch! They're really good at hiding and have lots of hidey holes. They like watching me from their hoses. It's not fair, I can't stuff my head in there and believe me, I've tried!! 
Hmm, wonder if I could fit in that hammock. Hey, you don't want that meal of yours, do you? 
I also have a cat friend called Max. Ok, ok, I know. Dogs and cats? Yup, I saw the movie but that's only fiction...right?. Max loves to follow me around (I've been told I have a cute wiggle) and my mom says I'm a cat magnet and must have been a cat in a previous life. What can I say? Cats have great taste!! We like playing with each other (left) and either Max or me will start a game of chase to see who can reach the deck first. If I reach it I try to eat all the food in the cat bowl, but if Max reaches the steps first he won't let me pass.
